AGM is a manufacturing company with 118 employees, all of whom are located in Tucson, Arizona. AGM manufactures environmental control hardware for containers that transport missiles, engines and other sensitive equipment. In addition, AGM designs and manufactures components for the actual missiles and satellites themselves. Furthermore, AGM manufactures the world’s premier wheelchair lift under the brand name of “Ascension.” Such lifts provide access for individuals with disabilities to stages and other elevation changes in both public and commercial facilities.)

MAJOR GENERAL (RET.) USAF
Ted Maxwell joined the Southern Arizona Leadership Council (SALC) in April 2013. He assumed the role of President and Chief Executive Officer in July 2018. The 150+ CEOs, business and community leaders of SALC are actively involved in creating a vibrant future for the Tucson region and state of Arizona by engaging the critical issues of education, infrastructure, healthcare, governance as well as economic growth and innovation.
Ted’s extensive leadership and command experience from nearly 34 years of military service have served him well in his role at SALC. Ted retired as a Major General in 2018. His final military position was as the Commander of the Arizona Air National Guard. In that role he oversaw and was responsible for over 2700 Airmen and the operations of units flying the F-16, the KC-135 and the MQ-9 aircraft supporting the Air Force at home and abroad. He has over 4300 flying hours predominantly in the F-16.
Ted was a 1984 graduate of the United States Air Force Academy and earned his Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Arizona in 2014.
Earn CEU Credits!
Live2Lead 2024 CEU Application CEU stands for “Continuing Education Unit.”
A CEU is a unit of credit equal to 10 hours of participation in an accredited program designed for professionals
with certificates or licenses to practice various professions.
A certificate of completion from the University of North Georgia along with .35 CEUs will be awarded
to those who attend the training and pay the additional $25.00 fee.
The 2024 Live2Lead event has been approved for .5 Professional Development Credits (PDCs) per speaker through the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). The credits count toward re-certification for anyone holding a SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP credential.
The necessary information for redeeming these credits will be made available upon request to anyone participating in the Live2Lead event in its entirety.
These PDCs will be available for attending any host site location, as a rebroadcast.
If you attend Live2Lead, your host site should provide you with the Activity Code required to receive the credits.
